Given the long distance between both terminals, it is about 1 km, Brisbane Airport has at their passengers’ disposal several means to transfer between terminals. See the information below for further details:



Terminal Transfer Bus

At Brisbane Airport there is a bus which runs between terminals, the Terminal Transfer Bus. Total transfer time is of 10 minutes, and the service is available between 04:00 am to 11:00 pm with the following frequencies:


From 04:00 am to 06:00 am: Every 25 minutes.
From 06:00 am to 07:00 pm: Every 10 minutes.
From 07:00 pm to 11:00 pm: Every 25 minutes.


After 11:00 pm you may take the AIRPARK Transfer Bus.

Domestic Terminal: Outside Level 4, Arrivals Hall.

International Terminal: Outside Level 2, Arrivals Hall.



Skygate Loop Service

There’s a transfer bus between the Skygate and both terminals. The Skygate stands for a huge commercial centre, including the DFO Brisbane and the only 24/7 Woolworths in Queensland. It is relatively close to the airport facilities.

Domestic Terminal to Skygate: 5 minutes

International Terminal to Skygate: 15 minutes (through the Domestic Terminal)

Skygate to International Terminal: 10 minutes

Skygate to Domestic Terminal: 20 minutes (through the International Terminal)



Domestic Terminal: Orange Transfer Bus stops outside the terminal, close to Qantas and Virgin ends.

International Terminal: Outside Level 4, from the kerbside.

Skygate Centre: The service departs from the Skypgate Centre, which is located adjacent to the Beauty Shop, opposite DFO.



AIRPARK Transfer Bus

The AIRPARK stands for a 24/7 transfer bus service between the AIRPARK and both Domestic and International Terminals.



From Tuesday to Saturday

08:30 am to 03:00 am (every 25 minutes)

03:00 am to 08:30 am (every 15 minutes)


From Sunday to Monday

08:30 am to 03:00 pm (every 25 minutes)

03:00 pm to 10:30 pm (every 15 minutes)

10:30 pm to 03:00 am (every 25 minutes)
03:00 am to 08:30 am (every 15 minutes)

Transfer time to the Domestic Terminal is 10 minutes, while to the International Terminal is 15 minutes.



Domestic Terminal: Outside the Terminal, at the Orange Transfer Bus stops.

International Terminal: Outside Level 4, Departures Hall.




The AirTrain is the easiest mean of transportation to get safe and sound between terminals.


Get within 5 minutes to either the international terminal or the domestic terminal for just $5.00. Frequency is of 15 minutes during peak hours.



Weekdays: From 05:04 am to 10:04 pm.

Weekends: 06:04 am to 10:04 pm.



Domestic Terminal: Outside the front building and take the Skywalk across to the station.

International Terminal: By the travellator lift, get to Level 3 and then make your way to the AirTrain Station.


The AirTrain service between terminals is free for Passengers travelling or else connection to Virgin Australia flights. You just need to show either your boarding pass or Virgin Transport pass on arrival.
